I've been playing Rage 2 recently via Gamepass, it's rather good in my opinion. GS gave it a 6/10 from memory, sure its an opinion but I think it's worth an 8 at least. I usually agree with GS review scores.

The shooting is fantastic, the graphics and lighting are excellent, the driving is fun, the voice acting is great what's not to like? You can also play as a male or female, he/she isn't a voiceless character and has some great banter is.

Has anyone else played this game?

I have and i agree with the 6/10 though I might bump it to a 7/10.  Everything you said was true the game is extremely fun but the story didn't hook me at all.  It seems like the pc was just thrown into a role with no attachments to any of the npcs.  If I am grading on gameplay and looks 9/10.
