At first glance, it's not electrifying, but you get caught easily by the history.
And there's a lot of fan service

A lots been released in the last 3 years thats been good and popular. Off the top of my head, Vinland Saga, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Rising of the Shield Hero...etc. Good time to watch again

I think the best recent anime is One Punch Man

Beastars just came out on Netflix. Like usual their translations are a bit butchered for their dub, but the Japanese dub + subs is fine as far as I know.

boruto naruto next generation, the sequel of naruto

"Tensei shitara slime datta ken" and "Overlord" are my recommendation. Both are pretty good isekai.

Overlord is more violence and mature while slime is more relaxing and funny.

Also, Tensei shitara slime datta ken wii have a second season soon, so this is the best time to get into it.
