My current drawing tablet is quite old and outdated, recommendations?

iPads hands down. Preferably the ones that use the laminated screen.

depends on your budget, really. generally you cant go wrong with wacom tablets. i bought one and it seems perfect for me, no complaints whatsoever.

Depends on the use, are you an illustrator, a 3d modeller? I've seen people do crazy stuff with the tiny bamboo ones

I've been using a wacom intuos for a while now and no complaints!

wacom is the standard but i have heard huion branded ones are good too

Huion pen and display tablets way outperform the wacom equivalents. $80 huion inspiroy has double the pressure level and a bigger surface for drawing than the $80 wacom intuos. Then the 13 inch Kamvas pro is only $400 and has an ips display with 120% srgb coverage while the wacom cintiq pro 13 is $800 and only has an 87% adobe coverage, which is a lower quality and harsher saturated color spectrum. I choose and recommend Huion every time.
