Reddit will survive no matter what they do. Mess third party developers, steal your data to train their AI, sell their AI back to you. But they'll survive and keep going, ignoring blackouts and protests. Might lose a bit of users but nothing significant.

I think Reddit will definitely survive in the short to medium term, but whether this behaviour sits well with users in the long run is questionable. The fact that mods already have the autonomy to effectively cripple the network is a sign that the owners should pay more attention to users rather than the bottom line on their earnings reports.

I agree with you, but it seems like it's a bit too much to ask them to consider their user base who ultimately made their platform what it is today
