Request Want to get a Gaming PC, but need help!
#1
Hi everyone,
I'm new here, but wanted to create a thread and see how this community works. I've saved up some money and would like to buy a PC that I can game with, but I have no idea what to look for or where to start. I was thinking of buying a pre-built one, but i'm not sure if they have everything I need to play certain games with my friends. I want a PC that can easily play games like: Guild Wars 2 (maybe the new one if it ever comes out), Archeage, marvel rivals, elder scrolls, etc. Anyone have any recommendations on either pre-built PCs or things to make sure I have in a gaming PC. Budget would be less than $2000. Thanks!

It's generally more feasible to buy the components and assemble it yourself, generally comes out cheaper, you can customise it fully to your needs, is a great learning experience and fun too. Do some research on the best combos for your budget right now and your location and focus on the gpu and cpu mainly, there are lots of resources out there. Lmk if you need any help

Building your own PC is often more cost-effective than buying a prebuilt one. It allows for full customization based on your needs, offers a rewarding learning experience, and can actually be a lot of fun. Start by researching the best CPU and GPU combinations that fit your budget and location—those are the most critical components for gaming performance. There are plenty of great resources online to guide you through the process.

just buy a prebuilt if you don't care for the building process, if u do it's pretty fun to learn and do!  Wink
