The Mandalorian hinted at the sequels being de-canonised, so what do you think should be put in place to repair the absolute hell show that was caused by Episode 8 and 9?

I mean I’m one of those rare people who actually kind of liked The Last Jedi for the fact it tried to be a different kind of Star Wars movie.

That said making Luke a sad reclusive failed master was not a direction I would have seen the character going. I’d need to think more on how to fix that, maybe Luke is in solitude on that planet to research and mediate on how to remove some Dark Side protective technique macguffin Snoke has set up on himself.

I’d also have Finn and Poe do the Canto Blight section (Rose too I actually kinda liked her), and rather than make it a whole “capitalism bad” motif, I’d have the slicer they need to hire be engaged in some sort of heist at the casino and Finn and Poe have to assist to get his help.

The sequels shouldn’t have ever happened. Even George Lucas said that the saga officially ended after the OT.
