If you find a Rolex expensive, it's not for you. People who buy them have the loose money for it. You'll literally wear it rarely anyway.

i agree with jamie. but it's worth to note that rolex's do hold their value. people generally pass them down to their kids.

There are plenty of other brands you could start with that serve as an entry way into the watch world. Seiko make wonderful looking pieces that are affordable in their mid to higher end range.
