Every now and then I get a self help guru's ad pop up on youtube. The most notable is Tai Lopez. It doesn't seem like they are genuinely try to help people, but they are rich right or at least seem to be. Is that just a ruse to get people to buy their books, or how else do they get their money?

Some of them are already rich and just want to become richer. Some really look forward to helping you.
There's a lot of marketing involved in every case.
