Self Taught Programmers Career Change
#1
A question for self-taught programmers (i.e. didn't learn in school or a formal boot camp) or people who started as a hobby. At what point did you feel like you were ready to try programming as a full-time job? How did it feel once you got a job? Had you actually learn enough on your own or was it pretty overwhelming to be doing it for real? A lot of programming resources online seem pretty superficial. I'm wondering if you really learn enough doing small projects and tutorials to actually break into it as a career.

Interested in this... I'm starting to learn programming online but I'd like to see how people have progressed in this field outside of typical educational pathways

I started on trade school but for most of my learning come from youtube or some pay courses, the school was good for give me a base on how to work or code but the more advance stuff was on the internet.
About project or tutorials they do help but always try to give your on spin on it not only copy from the video.
This is my opnion at least.
