If there in fact have been movies filmed in space then I genuinely think it’d be rare to see due to the extremely huge amount of money it’d cost to get people into space.

You can emulate space with CG well enough that it's unfeasible that we are going to see it. Not to mention the costs and potential risks. Plenty of studios would rather use a greenscreen than go into a forest even.
