Really depends on your budget, build, and game you play. If you're gonna stick with a 1080p display 60hz, 1060 is very well capable. Now if you're playing AAA titles on 1440p 144hz display, you may want to opt for higher.

It depends on what you're doing but a GTX 1060 should be able to handle most games pretty easily still

i believe that you shouldnt if youre i have a 1060ti and i upgraded from a 570 when the 1060ti was brand new. ill probably wait out another 3 years till i upgrade again because all i play is league and apex. if i was planning on upgrading my gpu i rather buy another ssd or a new monitor
