So, about Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter...

I bought it for absolutely nothing because, yea, it's stupid. And it's bad. Everyone knows that.

Put it on with the family because we wanted a chill stupid-fun evening and... we ended up liking it? Enough for it to be called "having a good time".

Bascially, it's a superhero movie. You have your guy, childhood trauma, bad side-kick as the villain. Then boom, mentor, training montage. Young man coming of age, making himself a place in society while fighting "crime" secretly at night on his own. Slowely building up to exacting his revenge, strategy, attacks at night, twist-reveals, treason, etc. It has it all.

Also, I think it's one of these early film in numeric form, which might explain the completely over-the-top VFX, colors flashing everywhere etc. And it's superb! I mean, when two guys are backflip-fighting on a herd of running horses while the sunset gives it a feel of the world going up in flames, it's a weird kind of epic I couldn't resist.

Anyone else that actually enjoyed it? Even secretly. Or might give it a try now tht it's presented like this? :p

Well that makes one more person on the other side.^^ I'm not saying you should expect a lot tho. Just that I feel it's decent enough to be a good time, with the right mindest.

Some movies are so bad they are amazing and some are so bad they are bad. Sounds like you found a good one.
