The tariffs are going to spike prices. At work they have budget meetings to see what is needed to be bought and from where it comes from.

i imagine things will be set back further and we'll be looking at an even more extreme political and social schism. trump's economic policies will hopefully be softened by people who actually know what they are doing, but will still push prices up so that he can maintain his tough guy persona. that'll like come in tandem with attempts to keep domestic wages low while offering short-term stimulus packages to placate the people and further attempts to erode labor laws. just spitballin though and an attempt doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen, but it will set the conversation of what progress looks like way back maybe 20-30 years or idk

Not American, but from what I've heard they want to go to a sort of protectionism economy but orchestrated by libertarians as Ron Paul, that's really odd. I've also heard president Milei from argentina (Libertarian) say that Elon has asked for the contact info of Fererico Sturtzenegger, his minister of de-regulation and cutting on spending, cause Donald wants musk to operate a similar kind of agency. Time willl tell tho I don't feel like you'll have much more trouble than what you have had.

Honestly all seems like it could be really messy with the people in his orbit being involved - Elon, etc.
