Wondering if I should start watching in chronological order. Is this recommended? Or am I wasting my time since I hear the recent ones aren’t that great

There is a name for this but I forget it,

Start with 4 & 5
Then go to 1, 2, (Clone wars tc show optional), then 3
Finish with 6.

7-9 are up to you to acknowledge their existence.

There are 2 ways you can do this:

1) Original order of release: Episodes 4, 5, 6. Then 1, 2, 3. Then 7, 8, 9.
2) Order of events: Episodes 1, 2, 3. Then 4 5 6, Then 7, 8, 9.
