It's an old movie, 
but Star Wars has a huge and wonderful world.

I was worried that such a great world would disappear because of a few recent movies.

Recently, I found hope after watching Mandalorian set in Yoda's childhood.

There's still 'New hope', right?

Agree with you that any hope for the series lays in stuff where they can try new things out like TV.  Mandalorian was the best star wars IP since the original trilogy, IMO.  I'm hoping for good things from that anime short compilation, that looked promising, as well as some of their other planned shows for Disney+.
