Sunlight and mood
#1
Depending on where you live, the winter can bring a reduction in the amount of natural light you get exposed to. This leads to a well-known condition named Seasonal affective disorder, which is basically just feeling sad and empty during that time of the year. Because people tend to spend much more time indoors nowadays (for work or whatever other reason), this can be extended to the rest of the year.

Do you find that sunlight affects your mood? I've found that even minimal exposure during the day has a significant positive impact on my mood, but it may not affect everyone in the same way.

I used to live in a very northern latitude with very long daylight hours in summer and very short in winter - the most miserable thing was in the middle of winter going to the office in darkness and then leaving again in darkness - if i didn't get outside for lunch I felt like shit , so yeah I think it affects most people.
