As the title asks, is tenet worth watching? I’ve heard various accounts of whether it’s good or not. Same goes for the rotten tomatoes ratings and rankings. I just don’t want to sink nearly 3 hours into something that doesn’t pay off.

Yes, it is worth watching. The problem is that you won't understand what's going on until the very end. A lot of the movie is an interesting time paradox that doesn't destroy the world.
