THREAD: Manchester United isn’t a bad team. They’re a lost team.
People keep saying United is finished. I don’t think that’s true. But here’s what I do think is wrong with them right now:

They have talent.
Rashford, Bruno, Garnacho, Mainoo... individually, they’re not the problem.
But talent without identity = chaos.
That’s what you see on the pitch.

Ten Hag had a vision. Pressing, discipline, structure.
But between the injuries, media pressure, and inconsistent performances, he’s lost control of the project.

This club still thinks like it’s 2013.
Big names, flashy signings, emotional decisions.
But football’s changed. United hasn’t.

Look at clubs like Brighton or Aston Villa. Smaller budget, clearer identity.
Meanwhile, United throws money at players who don’t even fit together.

The worst part?
Nobody knows what United’s supposed to be anymore.
They’re not a counter-attacking team.
They’re not a pressing team.
They’re not even a possession team.
They’re just... stuck.

The good news: it’s not irreversible.
Fix the structure. Build around the youth.
And stop chasing the past.
United doesn’t need to become Ferguson’s team again. It needs to become something new.

I don’t think Manchester United is dead.
But they’re in desperate need of a fresh identity — and fast.
What’s your take on their situation?

Rashford and Garnacho are rotten and nowhere near as good as they think they are.

We've had far worse over the years, but the club needs to reset the culture in the dressing room and having such entitled players believing they're untouchable is a major part of the problem.

I'm sure there will be little highs to come over the years, but sustainable success will never return under the ownership of the Glazers.
