In telegram there is a feature to create a full (or partial) dump of every chat. However, there is no such feature in telegram app for iOS and telegram desktop for macOS.
It is still possible to export telegram data through the telegram lite app for Mac OS (important - not telegram deskto!)
In telegram lite just go to setting - advanced - export telegram data.
