I love 4X games (eXplore eXpand eXploit eXterminate) not a big fan of Civ 5 though, but I love Endless Space and Age of Wonders series. What's the best one out there though?

I don't know if it's really the best game 4X-wise but i definitely fell in love with Stellaris right of the bat. It has it's weaknesses but the overall atmosphere is really good
