I heard a few months ago that Amazon Prime was developing a serie about the Stephen Kings saga. Anyone have any news about this?

It had been in development for a couple years after the unsuccessful launch of the movie. For a while they mentioned keeping Edris Elba involved, but pretty sure it's scrapped now. Amazon passed on the pilot. Doesn't mean HBO or Netflix couldn't go after it.

Oh this is news to me. I hope the do it properly this time. The movie raped the books series.
If i remember correct, from the start the plan was to do a series and between every season there would be a movie. But i think that well through. So they just ended up with one shitty movie. Kinda like The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.
