What do you think is the best mario game franchise. for me it has to be mario kart, constantly good in every console generation, mario party would be second

You can't really argue with Mario Kart, but I really want to shout out the GBC/GBA Mario Golf/Tennis games by Camelot which had the RPG elements and story mode. I had a blast with those and wish they'd re-visit the style. Golf Story is a good example of an indie game in those footsteps.
