Is anyone else hyped for this tv series to be made or do you believe the game version of story telling will be far superior. My opinion on it is that the story will be predictable as many of us have played this game the only excitement will be from maybe the older generation who may not be into gaming.

I'm not looking forward to this. The original game had a plot that was genuinely brutal, something you could not normally see on TV. And then the producers went full woke with TLOU2. I think it'll be watered down to all hell, and will probably resemble TLOU2 more than the original.

I've never understood the appeal to adapting videogames in live action. Games have stories built around player interaction, and adaptations just strip that away.

I’m pretty pumped due to the people involved, but would have preferred a different story in the same world, as not sure anyone could play those roles better than Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson. Still, I hope to be proven wrong!
