The walking dead

Have you guys read the comics? I feel like the series drifted way to far apart from the comics and turned into the mess it is now. Even the ending in the comics felt so rushed that the creator just wanted it to end. But at least the comics were good. The show is just a shadow of the comics now and is long past its prime.

I've read the comic series, the television adaptation is what it is and it's moderately enjoyable to binge but I agree it did stray from the comics but I'm not so certain that was necessarily a bad thing. A direct teleplay adaptation might have become too monotonous, but the spirit of the story is still there within the show, which is effectively every zombie story is a vehicle for a story about human interactions.

If you liked The Walking Dead comics, you should also check out "Y: The Last Man", apparently they're also making a live action of that as well.

The series has been rolling for a while. They suck money and that's all. It's supposed to be a movie about Rick, and a separate series about Daryl and Carol, of course they won't die. There are no worries about the death of the heroes. Commerce, money..

For me it has just gotten kinda stale and repetive, but I can't quite put my finger on why. The characters I liked died, and the ones that are left they aren't going to kill adds in. Not to mention humans seem super common now. no despair anymore

For me the series completley lost me when they killed carl. he was the one we were growing with as viewers and getting used to the world with him, rick was the protagonist but it felt like carl was the real avatar for the veiwer.
