I'm mostly familiar with Oshii through Angel's Egg, the original Patlabor OVA (and movies), and Ghost in the Shell (1995). I know he's been in the anime industry for a long time and got his big break Urusei Yatsura, though I've never seen it myself. What's your favorite work of his? Anything anyone here should check out?
