I've seen lots of marketing around this film and was wondering if it is worth watching since the original is a classic.

Add it to the worst movies of all time list. Except don't list it as so bad it's good. The only real talent that LeBron James has is the ability to complain at anything. And since he can't do that in the film, he crashes and burns. At least Michael Jordan had talent.

it's trash, but lets be real. the original was trash too. the only reason we hold it in high regard is because of nostalgia. if you re-watch it as an adult, it's bad. this one was worse but at least it has a shitload of easter eggs for us old farts to spot.

To be fair, Michael Jordan had both more acting talent, and more basketball talent, than LeBron could ever hope to have. In that sense, Space Jam the original was light years ahead of #2.

If you feel the desperate need to watch #2, torrent it. HBO/LeBron don't need anymore of your money.
