The Nemesis system is what is used in Middle Earth: Shadow of War which allows you to either befriend an orc captain or make him your rival, now I can only imagine why they are doing this is because they are not doing well as a company so to protect what little they have they put a patent on it so there's no competition.

Kind of disappointed, I think the system had great potential in other games. Like, imagine if you shot a cop in GTA and 3 hours later his brother showed up to take revenge on you. I think it has a lot of potential
