I just started and here are somethings I've learned based on reading other people's posts and experience.

1. Creating threads and getting credits doesn't mean you get to unlock stuff immediately. It might take some time...

After creating 4 threads~12 credits I got Low Contribution Detected after trying to unlock a link with them. From my understanding you need a higher contributor level (idk how high) to see links. You do also lose contributor level points for spending credits.

Therefore to truly unlock you gotta contribute more or pay up to upgrade.

Update: "As a free member you need to keep your Contributor rating above 100 otherwise the system will "lock you out" and you will no longer be able to access links." from Contributor System thread on homepage.
