i feel like most video game movies are pretty bad but I actually liked Assassins Creed more than I thought I would. I have hope for the metal gear solid movie and the new mortal kombat. Are there any great video game movies I might have missed?

Most live action are terrible. The castlevania animated series on netflix is really good. I also liked the street fighter 2 the movie anime.

Best movie actually? Detective Pikachu.
Best adaptation? Castlevania Anime.
Best to watch simply because it's a train wreck and therefore hilarious? That's a tie between Double Dragon and Super Mario Bros. Both live action. Both hilariously bad.

I really liked the Sonic movie and Detective Pikachu, other than that I really recommend watching the Castlevenia anime on Netflix as well.

Not a movie, but I’ve heard very good reviews from multiple people about the Witcher series on Netflix. Haven’t got around to watching it yet but can’t wait.
