Here's some info from Quora:
"Anyone with a i7–3770 should ideally be looking a a GTX 1660, 1660 Ti, RX 590, or GTX 1070. The i7–3770 (even at it relatively mild base clock of 3400MHz) will not come anywhere near ever bottlenecking a GTX 1060"

So I guess your RX 580 is OK with your i7, since 580 is a bit below the 590.
