i played FF14 for a bit. im glad that they let you play the game for free with a level lock. i wish more mmos allowed that.

the subscription thing is what really kept me away. felt like too much commitment, like if i wasnt playing at all times then id be losing/wasting money

Elder scrolls online is a good game to get into. Long hours in the game are enjoyable

Ive been considering eso. I played it for a bit during a free week before but not enough to form a solid opinion. Im on the fence about picking it up because its either base game + monthly plus pass or buying greymoor pack for $60.
