I’ve watched the Netflix series and I thought it was great but I heard there are video games?
What are The Witcher games like?

Witcher 3 is constantly on top 50 rpgs of all time - I'd say just skip 1 and 2 and go straight to 3!

1 was a complete mistake. Horrible gameplay for both turn based and action enthuasts.
2 was pretty great actually, it plays similarly to 3, has a pretty good story, and you have peak Roche.
3 is simply legendary and extremely moddable. Don't like a detail? Mod it, and unlike a Bethesda game, you don't need a thousand mods to have a great experience.

Witcher 1 had a really small budget so the combat sucks but it's still an awesome RPG with great writing
Witcher 2 is the best one in my opinion, awesome characters and story
Witcher 3 is really good too, but the last parts of the main story were really weak, super awesome side quest writing though
