So any movies that you think should’ve been nominated that I need to see, then please call them out! If you’d also like to give a shoutout to specific categories (best score, cinematography, etc.) or actors you think should’ve been nominated, then feel free to do that as well.
Mine would be The Florida Project for Best Picture. It is really something magical. It has a very unique story that is shown through the lens of a six year old. It's a huge giant leap forward for Sean Baker as he manages to follow-up 2015's Tangerine with the superior The Florida Project. The cinematography feels like I'm living in a poverty stricken Florida. The Florida Project also makes you to feel empathy for the characters. They are all flawed but they also care for each other. I can't believe they nominated Darkest Hour for six categories while TFP got one nom.
