What are some good hobbies to pick up?

With a lot of stuff still closed what are some useful things you think people should try and learn? I'm learning how to sew and tailor my clothes

Actually that’s sick I took a few fashion classes while I was in high school and sewing was a good skill for tailoring your clothes making them fit way better on you. It’s honestly kind of therapeutic.

For skills you could learn I actually recommend programming because I feel that there’s a lot of opportunity in the field. I’ve heard of people who lost their jobs in something completely unrelated and then picked up on programming and made a living in that way.

Sewing is definitely a good one, low cost and a valuable life skill. Something like basic woodworking or plumbing is good too.

Baking in a good one

Reading is a great hobby, it helps you read, improves your spelling and expands your vocabulary. In short, a marvel.

Electronics is another great hobby, and if you like the world of computing I recommend Web Design and Layout, they are hobbies that if you dedicate time to them can become a source of income.

I used to do boxing but I’ve started to do it again since the pandemic started
