I think it was a couple days ago there was the huge purge on pornhub of all non-verified accounts. So the MAJORITY of the site was wiped.. They also just had the removal of mastercard and visa I think was well? I think pornhub is going to end up dying.

At least this way, any illegal content is most likely gone. Yeah there were some videos I enjoyed from unverified accounts, but there's more to life than just pornhub imo

Mastercard and Visa being taken out is a big hit to them, but it's not like I paid for anything anyways so again, no harm done (at least for me)

well the thing is, this will only lead to more traffic on other sites that don't take their ethics as seriously as PH... the content is still out there, and that won't change anytime soon

People will just go to xhamster, xvideos and stuff like that. And if they really want to see it they'll go the extra mile to put it up on the darkweb index.

It's mostly just a big publicity stunt, whilst also cutting down on a lot of the pirating that people were doing on it.

I hate it. No idea what discussions happened behind closed doors that led to the changes but I hate that they buckled under bad publicity.

Better moderation was the best answer, but instead they ruined their site. And I worry that the whole thing might embolden other groups to target other big sites.

I'm not sure if it's because Pornhub own most of the porn sites anyway but I am finding that a lot of my old favourite videos are down on all platforms. Sucks but they dont care, people will adjust and still use their website and they will continue making billions
