If I want to create a thread to post content, do I need to upload it somewhere else first or can I upload it here? It seems like I can only submit with a URL. If that's the case, is mega the preferred method or do sites like Imgur work?

For file hosting use Mega as the preferred upload and use imgur to upload images.

imgur is solid, but if you're talking about sharing a big amount then uploading to mega is probably the way to go

As the guys already said I believe that Imgur is the most used, I use Mega for bigger files like videos for example
