What is the best movie or movies regarding Arthurian legend? King Arthur movies that come to my mind are Excalibur (1981), The Sword in the Stone (1963), King Arthur (2004), and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017).
I don’t think I need to ask which movie is more “faithful” to the source material because I guess there isn’t any source material. It’s not like Lord of the Rings or Wizard of Oz where there is a book to draw from. So which one do you think is the best?
