What's the best way to detect deep fakes?
#1
Hi all,
I recently saw some videos about deep fakes and was wondering, where to start to reliably detect deep faked images/videos as some of them seem very realistic. Do I start with neural networks on a platform like Coursera or do you have any other suggestions?

i mean i figure they'll be testing against the actual photograph of that individual? Because there are still some glitches, and most people who are very handy with photoshop can detect the difference between the initial pixels and the added ones

Ask yourself : is it possibly true?

Deep fakes are going to cause some serious issues in the near future. Laws will be required.

yes, some of the deep fakes are getting very realistic now

DeepFakes are a real problem. Sometimes you're lucky with reverse image search though, if the picture has already been used elsewhere. But I admit that it is a long shot.....
