Part of the problem is that it's a positive feedback cycle. An incest flick happen to have really good actor/scenes that people enjoy and manage to mentally filter out the incest > producers see that their incest flick does well so puts more money in it to produce higher quality > rinse and repeat. Viewers are drawn more to the "quality' rather than the fetish but the analytics don't seem to be able to separate the two. As long as theyre getting clicks and $$$ why would they care?
