The title says it all. I not eachinh for you technical first movie in theaters, because you may not remember it or barely remember it. I am talking about the first movie theater experience you have strong memories of.

Mine was Spider-man. One day, my dad came home from work at asked me and sister if we wanted to see Spider-man. It was completley unprompted. We ofcourse said yes, and ending up at a packed showing. I couldn't ask for a better first movie memory. I doubt it was first movie in theaters. My first would of probably been the Rugrats movie, but I don't have the memory.

I think mine was The Rescuers which is a Disney animated film from 1977. So I was 8 at the time.

I was taken to the cinema by my uncles and that was a lot of fun.

I bought the movie on DVD a few years ago when I rediscovered it on Amazon for nostalgic reasons.
