How soon will electric cars replace gasoline cars? Or will it ever happen? What do you think?

not until electric cars become greener than regular cars, which will only occur once power grids move away from coal and gas

gotta agree with dslg. most car guys wont be willing to give up the cars theyve been working on so we have a lot of time until the electric car takeover

Way long to go because they still need to make some big money from gasoline

I feel like not for a while at least. Reason being that while new charge stations are being set up across the country. There is just too little for electric cars to take over. Maybe once it becomes cheaper than a gasoline car we will see the transition.

I don't see everybody switching to electric cars, ever. you'll always have guys like myself that enjoy having project cars and while you may be able to do slight modifications to an electric vehicle in the future, it'll never fulfill.

When charging your car doesn't become a hassle when you're low on battery power, especially during trips and such. It still requires one more leap in battery efficiency before it gets to the level of gas cars. And with the way the oil continuously finds ways of digging out more oil not for another 10-15 years.

Personally I think electric cars will never fully replace gasoline cars. I believe in alternative regenerable fuels instead...

One day they will, Racing and other places will even

Most likely never,
I'd highly recommend watching the documentary "Planet of the Humans" and you'll understand why

I believe sooner man
