It's been over a year since the chip shortage started. I haven't seen any updates in months. Sucks cus i  wanna build a new pc soon and idk if ill even be able to find 3080 or 3090 available

Does anyone know what the hold up is or when it will be fixed?

in all honesty probably late 2022/when next gen releases. Covid was slowing down for a minute but with the delta variant and antivaxxers it could easily spike back up.
