I was initially hesitant to use Steam when it first came out but as that became the norm more companies started releasing their own such as Origin, GFWL, Blizzard, GOG, Epic, et cetera. What's your preferred video game digital distribution platform or do you use whichever has the game you want such as platforms that have exclusivity for certain games. There are also some platforms that don't require you to run the loader continuously or even have no digital rights management on the games itself. At the time when Steam came out it was problematic because not only was there always online DRM but it was also a resource hog but now that is slightly irrelevant.

Steam has a lot of great games and i'm probably choosing the unpopular opinion but.. origin, the only games I play right now are on there and their download speed is amazing

Just steam for me. I want everything to be in a single platform. I do claim free games with Epic but I don't do anything with it.
