We all know hollywood is shilling out old movies and series as new ones and making major changes to be "appeal to a wider audience" while alienating their old one. What are some reboots/remakes that are so horrible that you couldn't feel anything but disappointment and why ? And are there some reboots/remakes you actually like ?
I'll start by listing a few series and movies that I feel didn't need a remake or needed one but were terrible.
Series:
-Knight Rider
-Charmed
-Charlies Angels
Movies:
-Ghostbusters (You all know the one)
- Oldboy

And as an additional question, what would have made these reboots better ?

Artemis fowl movie, I loved the books as a kid watched the movie for nostalgias sake and couldn't even make it past 5 minutes. First time I've ever stopped watching a movie before finishing.

Total Recall, Red Dawn, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... there are too many to name unfortunately.

I really disliked how the Mulan remake took itself so seriously. For remakes of movies like old boy and the ring, they just recycle the same exact ideas, but with a white cast to try and introduce it to an American audience.
