I don't there ever was a good fantastic four live action movie. I feel like their powers specifically do not translate well to live action. I don't know how stretching or the Thing can ever look good in live action.

I don't think this is necessarily true. The 2015 Fantastic Four had a good cast but the script/story was bad

I feel like they just havent got their fair chance on the big screen yet. Marvel will surely flip perceptions about them in due time. Shame they wasted the 2004 cast though...
