Will Rust take over C++?
#1
Any rustaceans out there? Lmk what you think about this. It'll only take a few 100 million lines of code to entirely replace current C/Cpp tools. We can do this crab rave

#2
I think so, I used rust in uni, it is basically a language with C's efficiently and python like syntax makes writing alot of code easier compared to C

#3
I think C ++ has too much existing code base to switch efficiently. Both have their own audience.

#4
I am optimistic about Rust, but I think we need to wait like 5-10 years. There's so much things running on C++ that we can't simply replace for now.
working by the way is the way to find the way to the way of your life hahahah

#5
Why do we need to switch? Some people like rust syntax and some people like c++ we can have them both and still have a function society.
