I never watched game of throne, but I heard it declined in quality as it ended. I think for me though, Dexter has the most rushed final season that actually makes no sense that stripped the MCs of their plot armor all of a sudden, then ends with Dexter being a lumberjack? I don't even know if him being a lumberjack was ever touched on before that moment.

Game of Thrones was just sad. I'll also throw How I Met Your Mother Season 9 in there. A whole season of episodes based on a wedding that literally MEANT NOTHING!

Out of all series I have watched the one that takes the prize for the worst final season is The man in the high castle, season 1 & 2 were amazing, season 3 was ok but the last season was complete garbage.

Just like everyone else in this thread, Game of Thrones takes the cake. I believe they should have waited until the last book was actually finished before going on with making the last season. It just disappointed me so much after all that buildup.
