So since I’m going to be active here anyway I might as well try and engage the community in a little mini writing project. No this wont be graded but I’ll try and read everyone’s responses. So without further adieu, please write a short story using the following prompt: “Eons ago, humanity perished due to an unknown event. You (or the character) awaken in an underground cryo facility with no memories of the events leading up to you enterting the cryo chamber or the state of the world outside. All you are certain of is that you are all that remains of humanity. As you (or the character) surface you discover the ruins of a once great city now overrun with fauna and flora. Despite this, it appears as if some form of civilization exists within the ruins.”
