Your thought on sport events still happening during Covid
#1
Not sure if everyone noticed, but whilst every other type of event has been on hiatus, only the sport events are still happening.

That really seems like an odd decision to me as that literally is where the potential major transmission happening.

Yet there's huge restriction put on small group gathering.

I wonder what all your thoughts on this particular topic, and wonder what do you think that made them end up with such decision

Tbh I'm all in for sports to keep playing, as long as nobody's watching it on the stadium/place. In football (soccer) it'd be kinda messed up the season if suddenly they skipped a season (i dont know what about other sports)

And yeah, no fans watching on the stadium contributes to the team a lil bit. You can see almost every team on soccer on every league getting affected. But hey , at least i can watch at home.

And Chiefs friggin lost to Buccaners wtf?! Still pissed off

tbh as long as precautions are there to protect everyone from the virus im chillin. Sports being live can be a pretty big entertainment and morale booster for a lot of people, so.

With over 97% survival rate from this virus everything seems like big shambles. Just because they don't announced the flu deaths every year does not mean there aren't any. The amount of people dying from flu in previous years is not any less than what we are currently seeing

big $$$ is the reason why sports are happening... its probably bad for the players over all, but it's a good distraction for viewers during covid as long as they dont sell live tickets to watch it in person.

Money, they cant stop because their value is so high... Just wanna say that for example betting is a reason why they didn't stop.

I'm fine for them playing, but with no fans at the stadiums.
