It definitely will last longer than people think. People are way too optimistic about this, in my opinion. We will get there. The research will catch up and we'll be able to control it, eventually. But, a lot of people are thinking we'll be back to normal in a matter of weeks.

Yeah this is a shit situation the world is in.
I believe Earth is trying to clean up the mess we as people have made the last 100 years.
Look how everything is cleaning up in the big cities around the globe. Pollution hasn’t been this low since the 40s

i think the right approach would have been:
checking as many people as possible for the virus
monitoring who has the virus day and night to prevent it from spreading, even with privacy violation, because now the countries with a lot of cases are shutting down and everybody is monitored, so i think its better to monitor the few cases even with privacy violation rather than locking down the entire country and destroying the economy...

i think by fall it will slow down. theres a company trying to mass produce the vaccine and in human trials now .
